Android phone auto reboot if you don't use it for 3 days

Google’s latest Android update introduces a security feature that automatically reboots phones if they are locked for three consecutive days. This feature enhances privacy and security.

Similar to iOS’s feature rolled out last year, this move seeks to make unauthorized access or data extraction harder, particularly in cases involving law enforcement using forensic tools like Cellebrite.

The reboot prevents access to encrypted data stored in the phone’s "Before First Unlock" state, which remains difficult to access without the passcode. Thus, it protects sensitive information from potential brute-force attempts.
